ADG: "Deputy solicitor general Noah Watson ... go[es] to private practice"

Noah Watson was recently asked for a comment on an Arkansas Democrat-Gazette article about moving from public service and forming Watson & Watson LLP. Read Noah's full comment:

It has been a pleasure serving Arkansans for the past 3.5+ years with Attorney General Griffin. I am immensely grateful to the Attorney General for the opportunities he trusted me with, and I will always fondly remember my experiences and coworkers at the Attorney General's office.

I am excited about this new chapter with new opportunities in private practice at Watson & Watson LLP. We will continue serving Arkansans, with a practice focused on appeals, litigation strategy, constitutional law, election law, and amicus briefing.

Attorney General Griffin also made the following comment:

Noah has been an invaluable member of our team, and we are going to miss him very much. He is exceptionally bright, a gifted writer, and, above all, a person of great character. He has handled himself with remarkable professionalism and grace, even in the face of the occasional criticism that comes with public service and being in the public eye. Noah has a very bright future ahead of him, and while we hate to see him leave the Attorney General's Office, we are excited to see what great things lie ahead for him. We wish him nothing but the very best.
